Hey, you know that awesome show nobody watches called Community? Recentley it was on the chopping block, and was almost canceled. Thankfully there was was an uproar from fans and the internet ... Um, community let NBC, know they did not want the show to dissapear. The objective of the proposed cancelation was to clear the time slot for the return of 30 rock. This is kind of funny becuase community star Donald Glover, got his big start writing for 30 rock, and it almost cost him his cushy television gig. Subsequently NBC, ordered 22 more episodes aswell as an additional 2 episodes. This is not indicative of prepariations to cancel a show. Even though NBC has made poor business decisions in the past,... cough... Conan.Thank fully, the fans voices were heard (no help by me) and the show will continue.
Side Note: If you are a fan of the show, check out the fully functional Greendale website. It is designed like a college website, and treats Greendale as if it is a real school. I stumbled across the web site while researching the canelation rumors and couldn't believe so much effort was put into a web site that doesn't even really advertise the show at all. It is worth a couple of laughs, so check it out and apply today.
